GUIDELINES IN SHORT FOR TIMES SPARK FINAL EXAM

GUIDELINES in short FOR FINAL EXAM

žPassages will be published till 4 Dec.
žDate of Final exam :10 dec .
žTime of final exam : 5p.m to 6p.m IST(60 min).
žEach student must login to their account by 4.30p.m. to read
exam guidelines on the same day@10 dec.
žThe exam will start exactly at 5 p.m IST on 10 dec.
žTest will be of multiple choice format similar to Mock tests by
Times Spark.
žThere will be 12 passages of times spark articles published
during sept-nov’17.
žEach passage will be followed by 8-10 ques.
žEach question will have 4 options to choose from.
žFor every correct answer there will be + 1 point.
žFor every wrong answer 0.5 mark will be deducted.
žThe system will auto-save your answers. In case of your
internet connection breaks , you can re-login & continue from
where you left.
žAt the end of 12th passage,there would be a submit button.
On clicking,you will be asked for a final confirmation.
After this your answers will be submitted.Otherwise your
answer will be record bydefault  at 6 pm. Scores will display
accordingly.
žOne student can give exam only once.
žCandidates having multiple login with same credentials will
be disqualified from the program.
žcheck the “I agree to the T&C checkbox to enable submit
button / to start the test.
žCandidate found using any unfair means will be disqualified
from the scholarship program..
žAfter the exam top 500-1000 students will be called for
interview at TOI center nearby.
žThose students will be informed shortly..

 Students it is a big opportunity for you all class 9-12
students who have enrolled in this program……

 žThose who have read all the articles till date
can easily do the questions based on articles in
the exam.

 žBut for those who haven’t read all the article
and didn’t get the time to read all the articles
daily, Students it is near to impossible to cover
all the article from the beginning day.

 žBut you can follow some simple steps to
practice well till exam date.

 žHardly 8-9 days are left for final exam.

 Must do for those who haven’t read all
the articles….
žDo practice atleast 10-15 mock tests of similar
type of Times Spark’s Mock Test before final exam.

 žYou will have to remember the pattern of Mock
Test before attempting the final exam.

 žIf you haven’t given the Mock yet or missed
those 1&2nd Mock then Please Do Not forget to
Attempt the 3 Rd Mock @ 3 December as it is last..

 žMust Watch our “Live mock test Videos” to see
the types of questions there .Don’t rely on the
answers chosen by the candidate in our live mock
tests…Just have an idea of the pattern & types of
questions..

 žAt least try to cover all the Q&A types articles..

USEFUL TIPS
žMostly qUestions will be direct either to find (correct & true Statement) or to identify incorrect one.
žCarefully check the options there
žTry to eliminate the wrong options if not able to find direct correct option.
ž1-2 ques will be tone or themes on the basis of any particular line or as a whole [watch our uploaded video on this topic].
žMost important is Vocab based ques.If you are not sure of any answer then try to skip that KEEPing the negative marking in mind…
žMust have to know/learn the meaning of all the types of tones of passages before going to attempt the exam….
žDo not spend too much time(more than 30-40 seconds)  on any of the ques because there will be definitely less time.
ž12 passages * 8-10 ques = 96-120 ques in only 60 min.
žAttempt your exam at a place where there will be no disturbance as it is the matter of your scholarship..
žJust follow above simple tips you can be easily in the top 500-1000 students to win….
žKeep this in mind that no one will be there who can attempt   all the questions correct  in the less time of 60 minutes.
žJust be confident and relax while attempting your exam..
